I purchased this album advertised with near mint vinyl and an excellent jacket and following my own appraisal I agree with this. I played the vinyl through the Grados and the sound was perfect (no kidding I was getting a little dizzy listening to Revolution #9, it was pretty awesome actually). A visual inspection revealed only a couple of faint lines and it took me a while to find said lines. This having been said I numerically score the vinyl a 98. With regard to the cover I would score it near mint however, as with the vast majority of these albums for some reason, there is slight discoloration to the white and therefore numerically I score the cover an 88 (I have a sealed copy as well that I think has a lesser issue with discoloration). There is nominal corner wear, most noticeably a small bump on the bottom right of the gatefold and I saw a couple of creases coming up from the bottom, left side and top of the jacket (all less than 1”) and finally when looking at the cover from behind between the letters L and M in Original Master there is a small indentation, more something you’ll feel than something you’ll see. The inserts show some light wear, most noticeably the four portraits, which are actually connected via perforated paper and on the verge of separation, where there is small crease near George. Album is shipped within cardboard, the vinyl outside of the jacket, inside a Whiplash mailer. If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
