Hello. This is a copy of the rare single Dark Was The Night, Cold Was the Ground/ Nobody's Fault But Mine by Blind Willie Johnson on Columbia. This single is particularly noteworthy because besides being considered one of the greatest blues songs to ever be recorded, this song is also included on the Voyager Golden Record, which is on Voyager shooting out towards the stars, farther than any other manmade object has ever been before. This is the original pressing of this rare single, too. Unfortunately, this copy is in Poor (P) shape. The A-side, 'Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground' should be playable (it hasn't been tested), but the B-side, 'Nobody's Fault But Mine', was heavily damaged. Somebody tried to repair the damage with some kind of glue or something, but alas, the first half or so of that side is an unplayable wreck. If you want a copy of this just for the A-side, and don't particularly care if the B-side is playable, this may be a decent copy for you. I just want this to find some kind of home, because this piece of history deserves to be cared for by somebody.
