**ULTRA-RARE WEST COAST FIRST PRESSING**
*STILL IN FACTORY SHRINK PLUS THE IN-STORE BAGGIE*
COVER: Near Mint This is the WEST COAST FIRST PRESSING RIAA #6 on the back cover. The cover is still in the ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK AND the ORIGINAL STORE BAGGIE is on the OUTSIDE of the factory shrink! The pictures do not do this justice!!! While many record stores displayed the album without protection, some retailers placed the jackets in loose poly bags. Being offered here is an example of how some of the first pressings were packaged by independent department stores. What makes this super rare is it came with the factory shrink and the department store put their baggie around it. That's right! The accompanying cover is wrapped in the ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK and the IN-STORE BAGGIE is on the outside of that. I don't want to take the IN-STORE baggie off because it may tear up the factory shrink. I took a picture of the original shrink underneath the in-store baggie (see last photo). The cover itself is in Near Mint condition, with bright, bold colors! It's one of the best covers i've seen! The corners are still sharp and there is no writing or creases. It's really clean! The factory shrink plus the baggy wrap likely kept it in great shape for the last 50+ years. Aside from the shrink, this is an extremely rare West Coast FIRST pressing! The original cover is the MEGA-RARE Stereo West Coast #6, with the "Stereo Needle Damage" info at the bottom of the back cover. The #6 is difficult to see in the photos due to the factory shrink but it's there.
VINYL: Near Mint++ This is the second label variation with one "BMI" credit. VERY SCARCE! In terms of condition, the vinyl is almost perfect! It looks UNPLAYED! I rarely if ever say a record is in MINT condition but this one is as close as it gets! The vinyl has a few light marks if you put it under bright light. But that's being super picky. The labels are super clean and near perfect! Play tested all the way through - excellent sound quality! The fact that the first label variation of this LP was only produced on the East Coast (Scranton), the second label (one "BMI") produced on the west coast is therefore the very first pressing of this LP. I've been collecting Beatles albums for the last 30 years and this is one of the rarest albums i've come across!
