Up for auction is a Decca 493, Isham Jones, The Blue Room/ Black Magic. Record is in E condition. This is part of a large collection from a rather serious collector, only discs from the 1920s to 1935 period are contained in the collection. No big band....many dance and vocal, American and British.
The collection was slowly put together for over 35 years, bought from dealers and other collectors including Hicks, Kinkle, Stewart, Leavitt, Thompson, Reese, Lyons, Jewson, Rust, Forbes to name a few.
The collector spent many days, nights and hours pouring over auctions anxiously awaiting the arrival of each precious disc that was won. The collector spent an enormous amount of currency in postage to insure the safe arrival to his home, and is well aware of packaging and shipping.
I will only accept bids from parties in the US and Canada. All records will be packed in new boxes, shipped by priority mail and insured for the full purchase amount.
At the end of each auction, payment is requested. Thank you !
