LED ZEPPELIN I (ONE), UK ATLANTIC LP, K 40031, EXCELLENT ALL ROUND, GREAT AUDIO Led Zeppelin I

Led Zeppelin were the definitive rock band! They were formed out of the ashes of The Yardbirds in September 1968 and consisted of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham. Page’s first choice for lead singer, Terry Reid, declined the offer, but suggested Robert Plant, a Birmingham singer he knew. Plant eventually accepted the position, recommending a drummer, John Bonham from nearby Redditch. John Paul Jones, at the suggestion of his wife, contacted Page about the vacant position. Being familiar with Jones’ credentials, Page agreed to bring in Jones as the final piece. The band did not release the popular songs from their albums as singles in the UK, as they preferred to develop the concept of album-oriented rock. Led Zeppelin I was their debut album released on January 12, 1969.
Side One: Good Times Bad Times; Babe I’m Gonna Leave You; You Shook Me; Dazed And Confused.
Side Two: Your Time Is Gonna Come; Black Mountain Side; Communication Breakdown; I Can’t Quit You Baby; How Many More Times.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. Payment strictly by PayPal only. Postal discounts available for multiple purchases - Please email for details.  _gsrx_vers_804 (GS 7.0.8 (804))
