This is an original UNITED KINGDOM first pressing of THE OPEN MIND by  THE OPEN MIND. Released way back in 1969 on the PHILIPS record label. This is another incredibly rare pressing of a very highly sought after collectors record. The fully laminated none gate fold sleeve is in lovely condition. There is light laminate lift near the front of sleeve spine on the left hand side. A few very light laminate creases to the front very slight edge ware and slight  damage to the front corner bottom right. The back of this magnificent sleeve  has a couple of creases top right corner and very slight edge ware. The spine is in EXCELLENT condition and all spinal writings can be read clearly. So the sleeve grades as a conservative VERY GOOD ++ to Ex minus. The original inner sleeve is here and in EXCELLENT order.
Double click the pictures and look at the record label of side one . Only a handful of ever so lite spindle trails on close inspection. The vinyl has a beautiful shine in  normal house light and under the bright spotlight you have to search hard to see the lightest of hairlines but they are only cosmetic and have no baring on the play back of this great LP.
The vinyl of side two also has a great sheeny shimmer that you find only on new  records or old ones that have been very well cared for. Only a handful of very lite spindle trails.There are some light hairlines to this side also but they have no affect  on the way this gem plays.There is one slightly deeper mark on side about 4 mm long  but you can not feel it at all . And the LP plays all the way with no skips jumps or sticking  and no background noise to spoil things. The record grades as EXCELLENT MINUS.
To my knowledge less than a thousand of these were originally pressed so this here is a very seldom seen collectors item that would enhance even the most serious of record collections. This is a rare opportunity to grab a TRUE GEM !!!!
