U2 : 2 Sides Live - An Unofficial Vinyl Release - 1981

I was told this unofficial release was recorded live at The Paradise Theatre in Boston on March 6 , 1981 .

Cover is generic black . There is a black and white insert that wraps around and is used as the cover . Zoom in on cover insert for song list . Pressed on black vinyl with no distinguishing label .

The sound quality is actually pretty good for an unofficial release . Vinyl looks extremely clean and is in really good shape with very slight scuffs and rubs . Plays well . Occasional clicks and pops but still very enjoyable to listen to overall . The one exception lasts for about 45 seconds when Bono speaks quietly to the audience at the very beginning of side 2 , before Stories For Boys begins . He is talking about Mission Of Burma and another Boston based band and the clicks and pops are a bit annoying but it only lasts for about 45 seconds .

On the cover insert : Side 2 Track One lists Stones For Boys ( Stories For Boys ) obviously not put together by a U2 fan !

And yes ..... 11 O'clock Tick Tock is played twice in the same show ! Bono even says " We played this before. We'll play it again " .

Fans of very early U2 will appreciate this album .
