Good quality and good value classical hailing from the halcyon days of luthier made guitars in 60's and 70's Japan.

Probably made in the Ibanez factory and appears to share the Ibanez quality controls, rebranded for the UK market.

Well crafted with high quality materials that have kept ahead of times test, all cross laminated (Japanese) with the usual high grade exotic-wood bridge and fingerboard.

The structural condition is very good, neck straight, geometry has remained inkeeping with the design, hence the playing action is also good.

Bone saddle fitted, possible indication of good quality.

The cosmetics are fairly good overall with some evidence of enthusiastic play. This appears as the accumulation of marks gathered over 50 years. Nothing really outstanding but not mint - still at 150 a bargain!

Professionally refurbished, D'Addario Pro Arte strings fitted and plays well with a smooth and balanced tone with good bass note response and separation.

  • Fretwork attended to, levelled, dressed and polished as necessary

  • Nut and saddle re-cut or replaced as needed
  • Electronics and pickups tested and serviced
  • Any structural issues to be remedied and repaired
  • Any cases included to be clean and all catches + handles to function    
     properly
  • Packaging will be recycled/eco degradable where possible


We prefer to have things right, which costs time and, sadly, money. Our stock is priced to reflect a high standard of service - there are plenty of cheaper guitars out there that you can gamble on and then have to take to the $$$ luthier!
