Are You Experienced? - Late 1960s Reprise RS-6261 *(PIC 5 surface)* DISC = VG-/G+ many audible "pop" sounds per side, mostly side 2. Faint crackles throughout, still has bold audio  /  COVER = VG with minor beginning of seem splits on bottom mid spine, some fray bottom left corner edges
Axis: Bold as Love - Early 1970s Reprise RS-6281 *(PIC 6 surface)* DISC = VG with several light faint "pop"s per side, some crackles. Booming fidelity, no skips / COVER = VG shelf wear fray, title spine mostly ring wear fade etc, clean mostly. Inner sleeve present, big splits
Electric Ladyland - Late 1960s Reprise 2RS-6301 *(PICs 7/8 are surfaces)* DISC = POOR - 3 skips during voodoo chile side A, 1 skip first couple seconds, 2 skips "Come On", 2 skips Gypsy Eyes all side B, side C had 1-2 skips, side D has 1 skip first track, track 2 has 2 skips, track 3 has 1 skip, track 4 has 3 skips - all side D. There is a very slight storage warp to sides B/C **QUICK NOTE - When I first play graded this LP, there was about 40 skips per side, no joke. I sat there for 25 minutes and toothpick scraped the grooves with cleaning solution to get it down to maybe 8 skips at most on worst side. Ran out of patience to keep 'pickin'. The buyer could definitely get the remainder of the skips out with patience** Aside from skips there are constant louder audible "pop"s throughout playback and constant louder static noise. Despite all this there are passes and tracks that are still enjoyable. The ONLY REASON  kept this one is listing, is I didn't have the heart to separate it from it's brothers. *READ FAIR description below and then assume worse for POOR grade**  COVER = POOR - literally was two separate pieces of cardboard that were taped back together, heavy fade and heavy ring wear.
Smash Hits (Best of) - Late 1960s Reprise MS-2025 *(PIC 9 surface)* DISC = VG-/G+ with a few louder audible "pop", no skips.Very clean despite "pop"s, very bold sound playback mostly undisturbed, then occasional "pop's. / COVER = VG-/G+ many heavy creases, lots ring wear. Title spine partial split with tape.
Band of Gypsys - Early to mid 1970s Capitol STAO-472 *(PIC 10 surface)* DISC = VG with a few audible "pop"s per side NO SKIPS, mostly clean with minimal static /  COVER = VG minor mid spine seem splits, bottom spine, heavy ring wear
The Cry of Love - Early to mid 1970s Reprise MS-2034 *(PIC 11 surface)* DISC = VG-/G+ mostly clean a few tracks with some louder audible "pop"s, NO SKIPS. The audio is super clean, but then every couple tracks a "pop". Still super acceptable. / COVER = VG with minor 1/4 inch split on top spine, heavy fade back cover
Rainbow Bridge Soundtrack - Early to mid 1970s Reprise MS-2040 *STERLING* stampers *(PIC 12 surface)*  DISC = VG-/G+ with a few louder audible "pop"s, but mostly clean playback with minimal static. I debated for a couple minutes calling this VG, but side 1 track 2 has a few too many louder "pop"s. This track lowers grade / COVER = GOOD whole bottom spine split and taped together, heavy fade and ring wear. Title spine taped.
**NOTE: an audible "pop" sound and a skip are two different things. Read Description! A "pop" is an audible noise from a hair or scratch, usually heard as a "click", "tick", or "crackle" sound. This "pop" will play through the scratch without any disturbance to continuity of music. A SKIP will jump over part of a lyric or musical section of the song. On rare occasions a "pop" noise is so loud that it is almost heard as a skip. ***

DISC GRADE CHART:

NM (NEAR MINT) with a couple or less light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some extremely minor groove wear from play. Almost all of original luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very very light (minimal) background noise throughout playback with mostly clean bold audio. Some very minor occasional faint crackles, if any at all. Basically just opened out of shrink wrap. I hardly ever had this grade out, unless record truly deserves it. All other ebayers who claim NM, really have a EX(VG++) copy or less. Seriously only 3% or less of all vintage vinyl ever produced is still this clean!

EX(VG++) with just a few light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some minimal groove wear from repeat play. Most of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light background noise throughout playback with mostly clean bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, but mostly super clean!

VG+ with several light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some moderate groove wear from repeat play. Some of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, but mostly bold audio! There may be some faintly audible ?pop?s.

VG =  with many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some moderate groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are mostly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant light background noise throughout playback with mostly bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, and possibly several audible "pop"s.

VG-/G+ = with many many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some abusive needle drags and larger more pronounced scratches. Some heavy groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Faint crackles, and audible "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Not terribly overpowering of music.

GOOD = with many many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some very abusive needle drags and even larger more pronounced scratches. Some very heavy groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Louder crackles, and "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Not terribly overpowering of music.

FAIR = with thousands of numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some very abusive needle drags and even larger more pronounced scratches. Some very heavy groove wear from repeat play, abused repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant much louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Constant louder crackles, and "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Music maybe overpowered by background noise during some or all tracks. Close to the scrape heap, but still has some life.

COVER GRADING CHART:

NM (NEAR MINT) with NO to light fade and NO ring wear. No evidence of creases or light scrape marks around cover art from handling. NO corner bends. All spines are crisp and intact with NO shelf wear fray, title spine perfectly clean and legible with NO fray patches and wear. I hardly ever hand this grade out, reserved for any vintage vinyl that is still in almost perfect shape!

EX(VG++) with minimal fade or ring wear. Some very light creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, some very minor corner bends. All spines are mostly intact with minimal shelf wear fray, title spine mostly clean and legible with no, to very minor, fray patches and wear.

VG+ with light fade and light to moderate ring wear. Some creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, some minor corner bends. All spines are mostly intact with no, to very minimal, shelf wear fray, title spine mostly legible with no, to very minimal, fray patches and wear.

VG =  with light to moderate fade and moderate ring wear. Some to many creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, some corner bends. All spines are mostly intact with shelf wear fray, title spine mostly legible with some to moderate fray patches and wear. Some variance of these conditions, see individual listings. Could have writing on cover.

VG-/G+ = with moderate fade and moderate ring wear. Many creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, some corner bends. All spines are partially  intact with shelf wear fray, title spine barely legible, or not at all, with some fray patches and wear. Some variance of these conditions, see individual listings. Could have writing on cover. ** Most of my grades in this category are for heavy splits to edges, usually less than 90% of spines are intact. In this case most are taped back together.

GOOD = with moderate to heavy fade and/or ring wear. Many numerous creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, some corner bends/creases. All spines are partially intact with shelf wear fray, title spine barely legible, or not at all, with some fray patches and wear. Some variance of these conditions, see individual listings. Could have writing on cover, or stains ** Most of my grades in this category are for heavy splits to edges, usually less than 50% of spines are intact. In this case most are taped back together. Cover was almost two separate pieces of cardboard.

FAIR = barely acceptable, with moderate to heavy fade and/or ring wear. Many numerous creases and heavy scrape marks around cover art from handling, some corner bends/creases. All spines are barely intact with heavy shelf wear fray, title spine barely legible, or not at all, with some heavy fray patches and wear. Some variance of these conditions, see individual listings. Could have writing on cover, or stains ** Most of my grades in this category are for heavy splits to edges, usually less than 25% of spines are intact. In this case most are taped back together.
