I go around to estate sales and always pick up records when they look interesting. These 45's I unearthed from an old basement and couldn't resist buying them. They appear to be records from someone who owned a store in the 1960's! They are mostly in specially made boxes with either 10, 12 or 15 records in each box - I've never found anything like this before!
Lot #7 - This auction is for (2) packs of 45's (25 records in total, 10 in one pack, 15 in the other).
The boxes are exactly as found and were opened only to check condition and verify the quantity in each box.
From a cursory examination they appear to be in excellent condition. Every record is still in it's original sleeve and I would guess they have not been used. Other than a hole drilled in many of the labels I don't see any flaws. There are no warps and no heat damage. The only other flaw is that these were found in a basement, and the records do have a musty odor, though they are clean and do NOT have water damage. These have been tightly packed and stashed away for decades, so I think they just need some light and airing out.
