I'm slowly listing a lot of records on eBay.  I'm not a dealer, I'm digitising all of my vinyl accumulated between 1967 and 1992 (when I moved to CD) and selling to liberate some space.

Like most of my other LPs I bought this one new a long time ago! It's a first pressing, with A1/B1 matrices. The records, box and booklet are all in excellent or near mint condition (EX).

THESE ARE THE GRADING STANDARDS ? adapted from the industry standard Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide.

Mint (M)

Absolutely perfect in every way. Definitely unplayed, possibly even still sealed. Sleeve and original packaging also perfect.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.. The sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects. Any inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like, should be in place.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite possibly noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Normal wear and tear on the cover or additional items (such as inserts) without any major defects is possible and acceptable

Good (G)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality may have noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with minor distortion and mild scratches. The cover or sleeve may suffer from folding, deep creases, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc. 'Good' does not mean 'bad' but the buyer should not expect their purchase to be like new.

Fair (F)

The item is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover may be torn, stained and/or defaced, written on etc.

Poor (P)

A record in this condition will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. The cover and contents may be badly damaged or partly missing.
