This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the second LP by British left-wing folk artist Billy Bragg, released in 1986. With this LP, Bragg expanded his sonic palette from the sparse electrified folk of his earlier records, incorporating acoustic guitar, piano, and horns -- an artier sound, you might say. The jacket has light creasing in the corners and along the spine and seams, and is otherwise close to pristine -- EX(+). The disc is clean with a little light scraping and scuffing, and plays close to M- with a little light surface noise (EX+). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve with the lyrics printed on one side and the poem by Russian poet Vladimir Mayakovsky from which the LP takes its title on the other (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that
you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
