PINK FLOYD, WISH YOU WERE HERE, ORIGINAL 1975 UK HARVEST LP, BLACK CELLOPHANE
Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here
Pink Floyd evolved from an earlier rock band, formed in 1965, which was at
different times called Sigma 6, The Meggadeaths, The Architectural Abdabs, The
Screaming Abdabs, and The Abdabs. When the band split up, guitarists Rado ‘Bob’ Klose and Roger Waters, drummer Nick Mason, and wind instrument player Rick
Wright formed a new band called Tea Set. After a brief spell with a lead
vocalist named Chris Dennis guitarist and vocalist Syd Barrett joined the band
and it was Barrett that came up with the name Pink Floyd (after two blues
musicians, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council).
This is an original UK copy of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were here album released on the Harvst label in 1975.
Certainly not a perfect copy but still very acceptable and an enjoyable listen!

Condition:
(as Record Collector's grading system)
Vinyl side 1:
very good
(has a few marks and plays with the odd light click and light background crackle
here and there but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music,
it still sounds great, plays with no jumps or sticks).
Vinyl side 2:
very good
(has a few marks and plays with a click and a small skip at th start and the
very odd light click and light background crackle here and there but certainly
nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still sounds great).
Cover (matt):
very good
(still has the original black cellophane which is split at the opening edge and
has a few rips, light aging/discolouring at the opening edge).
Comes with the original card inner sleeve in very good condition - has
sellotaped repair on bottom edge and a few light stains
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a
complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or
records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also
covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no
lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear
and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no
major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the
occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,
without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably
deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and
contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration,
etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and
displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents
will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise,
etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a
collection-filler.
