This is a fine original U.K. pressing copy of the third single (the 10" maxi version) by British group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, released in 1980.  "Messages" was the group's first U.K. hit.  The song originally appeared on the group's eponymous debut LP, but was re-recorded for the single release.  It is backed on the 10" by an instrumental "dub" version (which was the b-side of the 7" release) and a radically overhauled take on the Velvet Underground's "Waiting for the Man."  The jacket has some mostly invisible stains on the front cover, and is otherwise close to pristine -- EX(-).  The disc is clean with some light scraping and scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise (EX).  This copy comes with green labels (originals were also put out with both blue and pink labels).

I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades.  All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets.  The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves.  I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
