You are bidding on a vintage Peaches Record Crate Kit from the 1970s! This crate is un-assembled and is still in the original box! In the 1970's, Peaches Records and Tapes grew to be one of the largest and most popular record store chains in the world. Peaches had the largest music stores and the most extensive selection of music available. They sold these record crate kits to customers and the Peaches record crate quickly became the most popular storage crate in the country!
Many of the assembled Peaches record crates have survived and they are still very popular with collectors. But the un-assembled crate kits are EXTREMELY rare! I've been collecting and dealing vintage vinyl for nearly 35 years and i've only seen a few of these vintage un-assembled record crate kits. They simply don't exist! And on the rare occasion where you do find one, the box is usually thrashed! Considering the rarity and condition, this is definitely a collector's item which would make a great addition to any serious record collection! 

Obviously, you could assemble this crate using the slats and nails which are included in the kit. You can customize the crate any way you want. As the back of the box explains, all you'll need is a hammer! I've included a couple of photos of other Peaches Record crates which are already assembled. As you can see in the very last photo, there are a couple of different ways you can assemble the crate. With that said, this is so rare that it's probably better to just keep it in it's current un-assembled condition. 

Again, this is a VERY rare vintage item which will continue to increase in value. Definitely a great investment which will continue to go up in value year after year! We don't expect this listing to last very long! 

NOTE: This kit is in great shape overall! It's nearly 50 years old so there's bound to be a couple of minor flaws here and there. But there's not much wrong with it! You'd be hard pressed to find a better example!
