Hello! This is an auction for a copy of Rock Island Line- Huddie Ledbetter Memorial Album, Vol. 2 (second in the Leadbelly Legacy series) by Lead Belly on Folkways. This is an excellent copy of this rare 10" record. The cover with this record is in great shape, with good corners, no splits, and only light wear. The record present here is in incredible shape. There are a few paper scuffs, but this record looks like it was barely played at all. There is no spindle marking on the labels, which look nearly perfect. The record is quite clean and shiny, with only minor paper scuffs to speak of. This copy also notably has the deep groove labels, and has the Plastilite "ear" in the eccentric runout grooves. This is a fairly difficult record to find in any condition, but this title is barely ever seen this clean. You're unlikely to find a copy like this again. This record is over 60 years old, and most remaining copies don't look this good. If you want to add a very nice copy of this rare title to your collection, this would be an excellent copy to go for. I also am auctioning off very nice copies of parts One, Three, and Four of the Leadbelly Legacy series this weekend as well, if you're looking to either complete your collection of titles in this series or want to get the entire series. The music on these records is great, and the entire series would make a fantastic addition to any record collection. A 10" plastic outer sleeve comes with this record. Good luck!
Shipping:
Sadly, I do not ship anywhere outside of the United States. Sorry about that.
Shipping is $3.25 via USPS Media Mail.
I do combine shipping costs, so if you win multiple auctions from me, wait for an invoice. Note that I will only combine shipping for items bought over a two week period. I will hold off on filing a claim if you tell me you're waiting to bid on some items from me that are ending the next week, but I won't extend that courtesy to the week after that.
Due to my job, my weekly window for shipping items out is rather limited. That's why I have 10 business days shipping and handling. I don't always need all that time, but my schedule is restrictive, so sometimes I really do take that long to ship an item out.
