Well, this is the third version of this album I bought. My first one was bought at Sears (I kid you not... I could walk there as a kid!) I was very confused by it, simultaneously loving the new adventure Hendrix had for me. I recall that this was satisfying because my dad had told me I couldn't see him live in 1968. (I was 14 years old so I guess I get it, even now,especially because my dad was an OPERA guy.) I got the compact disc version when it came out, but was dissatisfied with it like every freaking compact disc I bought over many miserable years of CD history. I finally got a beautiful close of the 20th century high tech version of it (1999) courtesy of the Hendrix family and it is gorgeous. That is this record. I admit I've bought a couple more iterations since so I now have the chance of offering this to others for a more than reasonable price. Enjoy!!! It is like new, truly and genuinely.
