EXCELLENT VINYL on this copy of Dr John's fifth LP, 1972's "Dr John's Gumbo", a collection of covers from his home town of New Orleans, this LP is so cool, and is considered #404 on Rolling Stones Best 500 LP's of ALL TIME! Including the classic tracks "Iko Iko", "Blow Wind Blow", "Stack-A-Lee", "Tipitina" and a fantastic Hugh Smith Medley ("High Blood Pressure", "Don't You Just Know It", and "Well I'll Be John Brown"), closing with another Smith classic "Little Liza Jane". This is New Orleans bayou rock at it's most pure. And this ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS COPY has really great vinyl, clean shiny and colorful. The GATEFOLD COVER is in fine shape as well, with just a bit of shelf wear, and a small promo cut bottom front left. The cover is very legible, and has NO SPLITTING! This also includes the original INSERT with a short essay and a breakdown of every track by the great Jerry Wexler. This is a complete package in super shape, grab it before the gators do!     Thanks for looking in our store. If you haven't shopped with us before, check out our feedback to see you can buy here with confidence. It is always important to READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION and VIEW ALL PHOTOS. We've been selling on eBay for awhile now, having stopped for a slew of surgeries and now retired from employment because of it. So, we're opening up a record store where it will be easier for me to stay active with my issues, and all proceeds from sales of our (mostly rare / scarce) vinyl goes towards making our store a reality (building records racks now, and our CD racks are full!). I post here as often as I can, please message if you're looking for something in particular. WE MAIL UNTO OTHERS AS WE WOULD HAVE THEM MAIL TO US! This will be by Media Mail, which is a bit slower but allows us to ship all US vinyl purchases FREE! We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours. To all our regulars, its good to be back and we look forward to hearing from you. If you ever see wrong information in our listings, let us know, we love the trivia and always strive to be accurate. Thanks for looking, and good luck on your search for amazing music.                                                                                      Greg and Michelle Mitchell
