A note on grading's: We use the Record Collector grading system as stated further down the page. We play as much as we can, but it would be impossible to play everything that is listed on a commercial basis, the worse the condition, the more likely we are to have played it. Bear in mind when playing your record that something that sounds decent on an old Dansette will likely sound worse on high quality hifi. We check all discs under 400w studio lighting so we're not likely to miss anything.

We Won't list anything that skips unless made very clear in the title and even a record we've graded at 'F' will still play fairly well, there will just be a fair bit of hiss n crackle on most tracks, won't bother some, would drive others mad. We give every record a quick clean before listing but obviously some dust/debris will still occur when removed from its original old inner. If it isn't shown in the photo's it doesn't come with the record, please bear this in mind with posters and other promotional items.

Returns: Bought a record and not as good as you were hoping?.............I've been there a few times, just pop it back to us for a refund, you won't find us getting mardy here. All records have to be returned to receive a refund even if snapped in two (like any honest buyer would try that one!), I'm not getting involved in this  buyer keeps the item and gets a refund merry-go-round and I won't haggle for part refunds either, we list/grade honestly and I hope customers show their honesty in return.

Grading:

Mint (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Not usually stocked by us

Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P): Not stocked by us

Bad (B): Not stocked by us
