Artist: Fairport Convention
Title: Fairport Convention
Label: A&M Cat: SP 4185
Year: 1969 First U.S. Press
Vinyl Condition: VG
Sleeve Condition: VG
Notes: This is the U.S. version of the UK "Fairport Convention - What We Did On Our Holidays". The vinyl retains its original sheen and has only a few light scratches. It plays great all the way through with a couple of minor issues in the shape of light clicks on Side 1, Track 4 and Side 2 Track 6. The labels are crisp and clean with just a little spindle wear. The typically heavy card US sleeve is clean and sound but has some tape on the top edge and a small shop sticker to the front top right corner.
All albums have been play tested on my Pro-ject Debut III with standard Ortofon cartridge. I don't often sell albums that are graded below VG - usually only when they are quite rare examples. With albums of G+ or less grading which are typically very well played and scratched, I have found it impossible to assess whether a scratch results in a click or a jump as it depends what set up you have. I will still make every effort to point out where feelable scratches are present.
I will happily combine postage costs - if buying more than one album please wait for an invoice before paying. Please see my other listings.
