NEW Tony Joe White - Collected (180g Limited Edition Red Double Vinyl LP, 2019)
Tony Joe White (July 23, 1943 – October 24, 2018), nicknamed the Swamp Fox, was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known for his 1969 hit "Polk Salad Annie" and for "Rainy Night in Georgia", which he wrote but was first made popular by Brook Benton in 1970. This release is a nice retrospective of his choicest material, covering 23 tracks from those two hits to duets with Shelby Lynne, Lucinda Williams and Eric Clapton, with liner notes and on audiophile quality 180 gram vinyl, limited to 2000 copies worldwide!
