I am selling my copy of Paul McCartney & Wings LP titled Red Rose Speedway. It was released in May 1973. It only achieved gold record status in the U.S. but it did reach No. 1 on the Billboard Album Chart. Being a huge Beatle fan I picked this up just after it's release (hoping it would be better than McCartney's last album, but ho-hum it was but not by much). My copy is a first edition by the Winchester Press . Early copies (like mine) contain a blue hype sticker on the front in the upper right hand corner. Also on the back along the bottom in early copies is a braille message to Stevie Wonder. My copy also contains the original 12-page booklet which in bound inside. Also my copy has been stored in an air conditioned non-smoking environment. Now on to the condition. I grade it as Excellent. The cover looks close to flawless. The only flaw that I can detect is a couple of teeny scuffs in the very corners and along one edge. The front and back cover look perfect with all original gloss. No marks and no separations. The booklet inside is in perfect condition also with no rips or tears or markings. The original inner sleeve is included. It is a generic white which shows some yellowing due to age but has no seam splits or creases or markings. The vinyl is in great shape also with just a few minor blemishes and a couple of hard to see scratches. You would be hard-pressed to find a nicer first edition used copy of this record anywhere.
