A 1969 first UK pressing from the brilliant Beatles, who were prolific in the recording studio at the time - and due to their retirement from touring and playing live, they concentrated on recording. This album is often rated as their finest work.

This was the FINAL album recorded, and Paul McCartney was primarily responsible for getting the foursome together in the studio as a united group for this.
They'd been apart and now they focused on composing these tracks without the hectic touring & playing live, & in the studio they were still a top quality band - the best!
John Lennon opens the album with the marvellous 'Come Together'.
George Harrison laid down 'Something', he didn't get so many songs, but the ones he did were breathtakingly good - this time he impressed his bandmates enough that they extolled the track as the best on the lp. 'Here Comes The Sun' is no slouch either - recently announced as the most downloaded song!
Paul's epic long song medley is brilliant, taking up much of side 2.
This FIRST EDITION is special and identifiable - the title 'Her Majesty' is missing from the lable, and the significant rare MISALIGNMENT of the APPLE logo on the rear.
It's an essential album of all The BEATLES releases.

The disc has LOVELY sheen, superb. First pressing!

Labels are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no pen, stickers or tears. Very nice. Spindle lines only. NO 'Her Majesty' title listed.

The FULLY LAMINATED COVER is EXCELLENT
flat, with light wear and some handling wrinkles near the opening edge.
