A 1968 first UK pressing from the enigmatic BEATLES, who were prolific in the recording studio at the time - due to their retirement from touring and playing live, they concentrated on recording. Many rate this as their finest work.... though with Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road to their credit, it's dizzying to consider!! I wouldn't argue for one in particular, just revel in all their brilliant music.
The production on this album can only be regarded as EXQUISITE! - a delightful Stereo mix.
This was highly regarded by George Martin, but was the beginning of some disparity too. They'd been apart and composed these tracks without the hectic touring & playing live, & in the studio they were getting a more distant and recording separately. 
George Harrison laid down 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps', he didn't get so many songs, but the ones he did were breathtakingly good!
'Savoy Truffle' is very cool, Paul's song to his sheepdog 'Martha My Dear' is lovely- and at every play something else stands out.
It's an essential album of all The BEATLES releases. 

These discs play really well, the brilliant music leaps from the grooves.
NOTE; Disc 2 has no 'EMI Recording'
above the side nos. 3 and 4.

CONDITION; 
The VINYL grades EXCELLENT, some very light marks under a bright lamp, One 'needle drop' point (not a scratch!) is visible on 'Mother Nature's Son'- it plays with a couple of 'tics', sounding as it's a particularly quiet piece on this album. Otherwise a lovely sheen - and playing wonderfully.
These sides were cut super nicely for APPLE, the music has a dimension that projects luxurious music on this wonderful album! 

Labels are in EXCELLENT condition, no stickers or tears.

The FULLY LAMINATED - NUMBERED # 0482277 - GATEFOLD *TOP OPENING COVER* is VG++, some wrinkles and wear by the opening top edge. Embossed "The BEATLES" logo is clean and clear ('the white album' was not the actual title). The word 'Stereo' has been rubbed away at the rear top corner, oddly, hence the grading - though overall this cover is still nice with great shiny laminate.

The lyrics and photo collage POSTER with 4 PHOTOS are included (discs will be sent in separate, white sleeves).

Not quite a MINT example, but such a nice copy of this issue with such clean discs is indeed hard to find.
