This is a fine copy from an abridged 1998 reissue on the Italian Akarma label of the uber-rare sole LP by Iowa hard rock group Phafner, originally released in a micro-pressing of 50 copies in 1971.  The record was recorded in a basement studio, and featured eight original compositions.  Its reissue history is somewhat involved.  It was first reissued by Rockadelic on its Animus Oculus imprint in 1989 with different cover art and an altered track order.  This reissue, the second to come out, used the Rockadelic cover art (with minor alterations) and track order, though omitting the final two tracks (which had been given different titles on the Rockadelic issue for some reason).  A subsequent Akarma reissue from 2002-3 was the first and to date only one to reproduce the original cover art and track order.  For what it's worth, the two omitted tracks on this issue are the album's weakest.  The textured cloth jacket is close to pristine (M-).  The disc has a couple of small stains, one of which causes some light whooshes; otherwise it's clean.  The source disc plays with light surface noise.  Graded visually with the whooshes taken into account, EX+.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
