JOB LOT COLLECTION 200 + CLASSICAL LPs *TAS / ASD/ SXL / DGG / SAX. WBG/WG/BS . Condition is Used.
Here we have a collection of Classical records covering most of the major UK labels and a few US and European issues. They have been collected by myself over the last 10 years or so. counting the box sets as one there are I believe 204 separate titles (if I counted properly). They have not been sorted or cherry picked and the deccas and hmv's pulled out to show the labels were taken at random from the boxes. There will be narrow band deccas and postage stamp or semi circle HMV's I am sure . there are I think few columbias included as well as RCA and Mercury releases (both US and UK pressings I think), there are a couple of Philips HI FI stereo as well.I also noticed quite a few Tulip label German press DGG's some with the red box stereo covers
There are no DPA or MFP pressings as far as I could see but I have not really fully looked. As theses were bought with the intention to re sell I don't think I would have picked any of those pressings up. Most are stereo but there are a few mono pressings (the Furtwangler's are mono and I did see a Giaconda de Vito in there).
There are defiantly some later SXL and ASD four digits in this set as well but I did come across some interesting ones in this category (a two single sided white ladel test pressing ASD and a few different versions of the rite of spring for example)
These records come ungraded, as i said I bought them to re sell so I would normally only buy visually excellent condition records, the cover mostly look to be around at least very good most better but look at the pictures and make up your mind. I never found the time to try to sell them individually so now hey have to go. I just don't have time to play test them or go through them all so bid accordingly
The ARTISTS include Nathan Milstien , David Oistrach, Ida Heandel, Willhelm Furtwangler, Du Pre, Yoyo Mar, Zino Francescatti, Menuhin, Arthur Grumiaux and Henryk Szeryng. There seems to be a fair bit of violin music in this lot. and the violinists mentioned are not the only ones I saw when pulling records out for the photographs.
This collection is for sale as is if it is in the boxes pictured you get it, the information above is from pulling the records out to photograph I may have missed something so if you need any more info please ask (bearing in mind that I am not going to list and grade all the SXL's for you if I did that I may as well sell them individually). I am going to start the auction at £150 which is less than £1 per record but I will give the option to make an offer, please be sensible when making offers though I am not planning on taking less than the starting bid. I don't think postage is an option here. There are three boxes and they weigh a ton (I am not sure how I would package them for postage safely either) so I will have to say these will be collection only. However as I am currently working from home you can at your own risk send a courier just bear in mind they will be boxed as you see them in the picture
Thanks for looking and message me if you need to know anything
