The criminally underrated conclusion to David Bowie and Brian Eno's Berlin trilogy (following the epochal Low and Heroes), this album functions as a bleak Cold War travelogue. Songs like 'Boys Keep Swinging' and 'Move On' maintain Bowie's fascination with gender and reinvention but infuse them with a chillier Scott Walker-ish atmosphere. The one-two punch of 'DJ' and 'Look Back In Anger' cement this as one of Bowie's very best.
