DESCRIPTION: The Beatles- Rubber Soul LP. Complete 1st UK MONO press with machine stamped matrix ending -1/-1 ("Loudcut" mix), K.T tax code to Side One label, front laminated G&L flip back sleeve and tracing paper lined Emitex inner. This copy also has an unusual ring on side 1 label that I have not seen previously- please see main photo. The inner ring looks almost scratched on (its not perfectly circular) but there is wider ring behind it that you can see.
LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Parlophone PMC 1267:
YEAR OF RELEASE: 1965.
COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK:
CONDITION (VINYL/SLEEVE): G/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen, some surface lines and a lot of hairlines and brushing lines. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Plays through without skips or sticks. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Generally plays loud with ticks throughout, repetitive during "Drive My Car". Cover is in clean condition, a decent VG. It is firm and square and has light edge wear (near moderate to opening edge), moderate corner wear and only light creasing. Good shape retained to fully legible spine. Undamaged flip-backs and pretty clean rear of sleeve with only light discoloration and a little biro to centre of rear opening edge. Emitex inner is near EX, clean with only light wear, light yellowing, fully attached lining and no splits. Clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.
I SELL AND POST WORLDWIDE AND ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE.PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF EBAY IS NOT ALLOWING YOU TO BUY OR IS NOT MAKING POSTAGE COSTS CLEAR.
GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
POSTAGE COST INCLUDES TRACKING AND A BOX MAILER & CRUCIFORMS. I POST WORLDWIDE. I ONLY POST 1ST CLASS SIGNED FOR OR NEXT DAY SPECIAL DELIVERY IN THE UK. I ONLY USE ROYAL MAIL. I ONLY POST TRACKED/SIGNED FOR OUTSIDE OF UK- EXTRA INSURANCE MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PACKAGES VALUED OVER £50.
PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR RATES IF EBAY IS NOT MAKING POSTAGE COSTS CLEAR. POSTAGE FROM UK DEPENDS ON WEIGHT OF THE PACKAGE AND GOES UP IN 250GM INCREMENTS AFTER 500GM. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON THE WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. I CHARGE THE EXACT COST OF TRACKED AIRMAIL AND £1.50 FOR PACKAGING.
