About us:
We are a world reknown international mail order dealer having specialized in soundtrack collectible vinyl LPs since 1972! We've sold over a million LPs during that period with thousands of satisfied patrons worldwide! We helped to establish the soundtrack LP collectible market by publishing one of the earliest newsletters about soundtrack vinyl beginning in 1973. We promoted the film music field by helping to either support or help underwrite symposiums on the subject in the mid 1970s, working with the late Tony Thomas on possibly the first film music symposium at UCLA, with candid interviews by the late legends in the field at that time: Miklos Rozsa, Jerry Goldsmith, Elmer Bernstein, Jerry Fielding, Bronislau Kaper, George Duning, Henry Mancini, Ernest Gold and others. One of the earliest concerts of film music and symposium was partially underwritten by our company at the Oakland Museum, also in the 1970s, featuring appearances by the legendary David Raksin (Laura), Ernest Gold (Exodus), Elmer Bernstein (Magnificent 7), Fred Steiner (Star Trek), and Lyn Murray. In the field of rarities, we sold a private pressing of 2 78rpm recordings of Max Steiner's 1930s film music to "King Kong" for $300 in 1974, a sealed Bernard Herrmann '7th Voyage of Sinbad' for $375 in 1975, thousands of rare soundtracks at $100 or more; and capped off with a record-setting price for a soundtrack LP in 1989 with the sale of the 'mother lode' of rarest soundtracks-- Max Steiner's 'withdrawn' RCA release of "The Caine Mutiny"  VG+ condition for $10,000! We are bringing our vast inventory to EBay in the coming months, and hope to add you to our list of valued and happy patrons.
