The Stooges- The Stooges- Elektra, EKS-74051
Condition:
Record: Fair (F): This record has very heavy scuffing and scratching to it. I have played this record before, and it didn't skip or stick when I played it, but it's in very rough shape... I wouldn't recommend playing it.
Cover: Good (G): This cover has spine wear, edge wear, corner wear, ring wear, strong creasing, strong scuffing and scratching, tearing, staining, abrasions, and a sticker.
Notes: Has the "PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE" Elektra promotional sticker with it; very rare original 1969 white label promotional pressing.
This is a fantastic and incredibly important album. This album deserves a spot in every record collection. It's great. This is also the incredibly rare white label promotional pressing. I hate to part with this, but I live in an area that is becoming increasingly prone to massive all-destroying out of control wildfires, and I'm cutting the fundamentals of my collection down to that which I can grab easily and get into a car if I need to evacuate. Due to its pretty rough condition (the person that sold it to me wildly overstated the condition), this record doesn't take priority over some of the other things I have (I have a pretty nice normal copy of this title, as well), but I don't want to condemn it to be left behind and possibly burn, so... I'm sending it to a new owner. This deserves to be with an owner that isn't just angry that it's not in the condition it was described as being in, and honestly... it's a promo copy of the first Stooges record, how cool is that? It deserves better than I can offer it, particularly due to the musical significance.
