On offer is a 1959 mono LP Billie Holiday, a compilation of her most significant recordings on the Commodore Records label, FL 30,008.
The record plays through with no skips or catches. But it has seen a lot of use and plays with significant surface noise -- although I would say the surface noise never really overpowers the music and vocal. The vinyl still has a bit of shine but also numerous surface marks and light to mild scratches. The labels have spindle wear, particularly on side 1. See photos.
The record grades about Good or Good Minus by the Record Collector magazine definition of Good: "The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches."
The cover is Very Good to Very Good Minus. The front is bright and clean. There are no marks or writing. There is some wear to edges and corners, and the bottom edge is split from the opening to about 2/3 of the way across. See photos.
