78 rpm 8" diameter PROMOTIONAL "BUGS BUNNY" Christmas Record issued in 1948 by
Capitol Records & Warner Bros Cartoons
The recording was done on shellac over cardboard and still plays fine.

Bugs Bunny (Mel Blanc) talks to Johnny Mercer about Christmas and the year in music.
Warner Bros studios provided the use of Bugs Bunny (and the great voice of Mel Blanc).
There are loads of printed names of the Capitol recording artists that were on contract at that time. (see pic)
In the middle of this side are 3 printed signatures: Johnny Mercer-Glenn Wallichs-Floyd Bittaker.
Mercer was a top performer and also was the person that founded Capitol records in 1942.

Not only is this a recording sound from 73 years ago but it is also somewhat of a historical document.
