This is a totally unique copy of the 1996 jukebox 45 S7-18892, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps b/w Blackbird" on the Capitol label (CEMA Special Markets). This particular record is a very rare "Production Test Pressing" - you can easily see how it differs from the regular issue 45. Usually, about a dozen or so record press "tests" are pressed to assure correct vinyl thickness, label centering, groove depth, stamper levels and other Quality Control standards. These pressings are then removed from the press while the vinyl is still hot and pliable - each test press is totally unique! Then, after these pressings cool, and have been measured and scrutinized, they are destroyed and melted down to make more records. Occasionally, one of these "test presses"  survives and winds up surfacing in the general population, just like error coins do.

This particular test pressing FAILED the test - the labels are WAY off center, and the vinyl is way too thin near the edges. The labels are so far off, they actually touch the play grooves! How many 45s have you ever seen that are this far off center?! Not to mention the fact that it is THE BEATLES, and it is BLUE COLORED VINYL...WOW! This is probably the only surviving example of this obvious error pressing! A screamin' rare collectible for sure!

NOTE: This test pressing cannot be played on a standard phonograph because it was only a test and never meant to be played - warps, scratches, and scuffs are possible.

Note: International customers may have to pay a duty at Customs - every country's rules are different.
