The Beach Boys SMILEY SMILE Original BROTHER LP release from 1967 in glorious MONO T 1009
No mention of Barry Turnbull and 1st press matrix #s ending in F3/F3
VINYL - VG+ Dark black and very glossy. Not pretty - plenty of spidery spindle trails ( it should get a prize for them - see photos). And there are a couple scuffs on both sides that are not the loveliest thing you've ever seen. Side one has one of those stickers (13) that teens back in the 60s put on their 45s and then slid them into their little carrying case with the cute little handle.
However, I listened to both sides on headphones and I have to say it plays EXCELLENT. No background noise from wear and no loud tics and certainly no skips. A very nice player!
JACKET - VG+ Nice and tight. Again, not a beauty queen - lots of edge/corner wear, a big (though neat)
punch hole upper right and the front slick was put on crooked at the factory. It is the 1st press cover though, without mention of Barry Turnbull and there are no names, stains, dents, rips, seam splits, ring wear, stickers or stamps.
