If you're searching for Sugar Man, SEARCH NO FURTHER!!! Before Rodriguez released Cold Fact, before he was known the world over as activist and artist, he recorded a single for Impact Records under the moniker Rod Riguez. This, ladies & gentlemen, IS that single. And let me tell you, it is a gem.
Notes on This Pressing:
Impact Records IMP #1031 White label PROMO Gomba Music Inc 1967 Side A: I'll Slip Away Side B: You'd Like To Admit It (Arranged by Mike Theodore & Dennis Coffey)
Vinyl is VG+, SUPER clean! There are a couple very light paper sleeve scuffs but record plays through great! Labels are likewise clean. There is a "P" written in red marker on side 1. Side 2 label has one tiny mark of discoloration. Allover looks great! Awesome piece for your collection!! Generic sleeve included.
Please note,  I grade conservatively and by the Goldmine standard, here is what you can expect...
For the VG+ vinyl -  A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present.
Generic sleeve ONLY.
***WITH ALL THIS SAID if you have a Crosley or other budget turntable that comes in a suitcase, there is a chance with this, and every record really, that the tone arm, being the weak little thing it is, might bounce off, this is not a sign of a deficient record, this is an issue with the turntable. If you encounter this problem a penny taped to the top of the head of your tone arm generally fixes that right up.***
