1975 Ashkenazy In the Rachmaninov 2nd with Kondrashin = Decca SXL 6099. Audiophile quality playback to this. This is Japan King, the best of the labels in Japan for me, I have loads of these in my own extensive piano collection. Fully Excellent. This concerto is very fine, and it gets great reviews. I also think this is the best sounding version of this you can find today, as long as you are using a high quality cartridge with an elliptical or better profile stylus. For conical users, you would be better off with an older record. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
