A UK ORIGINAL FIRST pressing from the brilliant Beatles - their enigmatic and brilliant group effort, and considered an early 'concept album'.
It was an idea of Paul's to issue an anonymous Beatles release, with an obscure brand-name. This wasn't going to work of course, as the identifiable sound of their vocals is unmistakable and wouldn't get past many people! The record company would also provide hundreds of thousands of the album ready for sale when the clamour to buy it came like an avalanche!
The Fab Four made a brilliant album..... and it almost included Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever except Parlophone demanded a single - and Brian Epstein complied.
These are excellent recordings that will stand up in history.
The capable production of George Martin refines every piece exquisitely, embellishing wonderful compositions with harp, oboe, and superbly balanced vocal harmonies, even chicken sounds!
The result is here; a truly HUGE landmark in music history.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades EXCELLENT.
No scratches visible, light surface paper sleeve scuff only - playing & sounding great.
Labels are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no stickers or stains. with 'K T' embossed tax code.
The original print FULLY LAMINATED COVER is EXCELLENT.
Light wear, solid - the 'gate' is still tight and creaky when opening.
The custom inner sleeve and complete 'gimmick' cutout card are included here in clean condition.
