Bon Jovi
"These Days"
1995 Mercury Records (Polygram Inc)
Scarce original UK issue of what could arguably be described as the end of the first phase of Bon Jovi. Not that you can tell from the contents as everything here indicates the variety of directions the band would take later and considering the bands achievements at the time this album is a good summation of everything g they could deliver at the time.
No shortage of hits here. Hey God has plenty of bite and Something For The Pain could have been on New Jersey but the real growth is when they take the tempo down for Lie To Me or even take a left turn on Diamond Ring.
The pressing is surprisingly brilliant considering vinyl was really not the main concern in 1995 and most forums online seem to peg this as the one to own versus any of the remasters on any format so bid while you can.
Sleeve and inners are glossy and intact and the vinyl is VG+.
Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
