12" 33 1/3 rpm LP vinyl record

This 33 1/3 rpm LP Disneyland Record album WDL-3039 features "Walt Disney's music from South of the Border"—twelve (12) musical tracks from Saludos Amigos (1943), The Three Caballeros (1945) and "Blame It on the Samba" from Melody Time (1948). The front of the album features the concept art of Disney's famous artist Mary Blair, and the text on the back relates the story of Walt Disney and El Grupo's goodwill and research trip to Mexico and South America in 1941. It includes a complete list of those who went on that historic journey and information on the two feature films, with credits for the music. The record is in the original paper sleeve and appears to have been played; shows only light surface wear.

According to The Golden Age of Walt Disney Records 1933-1988 by R. Michael Murray the music in Saludos Amigos (1943) and The Three Caballeros (1945) initially had only 78 rpm albums released by Decca in 1944. "Decca never released LP's of these scores. As a result this later studiotrack album and its later LP reissue, WDL-1039, are highly sought after
