I'm no store nor investor in music art.  Just love music and want to offer my collected archives to new homes & appreciators.  Slowly but surely over these next years I plan to disseminate a lot of Krautrock, avantgarde, progressive, unique and off-the-beaten path artifacts, so keep me on tap and keep checking my other listings which I plan to keep at an average of about 50 listings (many are Lots).

Record Grading Scale and abbreviations below:    At the record description I grade COVER first, RECORD second, NM / NM

NEAR MINT
or NM : this record appears virtually flawless. A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw is very hard to see. COVER looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age. Minor impressions to the cover may be acceptable, however the artwork is be as close to perfect as can be.

EXCELLENT or EX : minor scuffs which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs and no scratches, record should play quite perfect with no noise overpowering, even in silent passages. COVER: Artwork is still as close to perfect as can be. Minor impression to the cover or slight creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye.  No seam splits or writing on the cover can make this grade.

VERY GOOD PLUS or VG+ : record shows some wear or hairline surface scuffs to the naked eye, yet the vinyl still has a considerable luster.  Playing this record is still a very enjoyable experience with just minor, occasional audible imperfections, even in this digital age.  COVER: virtually clean with slightly more aging, possibly some minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through.  Flat white paper covers may be somewhat yellowing, yet no stains or mildew from water damage. Small corner "dings" are possible. In essence, a VG+ cover is still solid as a whole with some imperfections not diminishing the artwork of the cover.  A small cut-out/punch-hole on an otherwise fine cover could fall into this category.

VERY GOOD or VG : this record is good enough and enjoyable and while surface noise may hardly be audible with rock music (for example) this becomes more evident in very quiet music works, or in the silence between tracks, particularly in headphone over ambience listening situations.  No skips or repeats resulting from major scratches should occur.  COVER shows more handling, may have larger creases or corner bends and seam wear, but be free from stains or tears.

GOOD or G :  these records have seen frequent use and handling will almost always have some surface noise when they are played, throughout. The Dynamics should still be fine, overpowering the surface noise. At times, the record may play near perfect except for one isolated blemish that may cause a skip - which shall be expressly pointed out in the record description. COVER will look worn, used and there may be some seam splitting, possibly even taped repair, water damage or staining visible. Check the Fotos, too !
