Paul Weller Stanley Road Go! Discs First Pressing Ltd Vinyl With Booklet VG+/VG+.

A great copy of the original 1995 release of "Stanley Road" on Go! Discs. This copy is from my private collection and I've owned it since it was brand new. I never really got into this album at the time, so I maybe played it once or twice and then popped in onto the shelf where it has sat ever since. Played for grading just prior to listing.
Sounds great! The album looks clean and shiny - almost as new. There is some minor surface noise, pops and crackles, but nothing subtantial - mostly noticeable is a "tick" during the fade-in of the outro to Side A, as well as in the middle of B5, also some pops and crackles during the outro of A4 - but these may just be dust (I can't see any visible scratches) and could be improved with cleaning. This is a long album for a single LP. Side A is almost 28 minutes and as a result it is pressed quite quiet, so surface noise is often more problematic with this record than many others. That said, this copy sounds fantastic - probably very similar to what it sounded like back when it was purchased.
 
The inner booklet looks clean and glossy and (as far as I remember) has never even been opened. There is some shelf wear and fading to the spine. The corners in particular have some wear - but in general the sleeves are in great shape. The inner gatefold has some ring wear (see photos).
The record and sleeve have been stored in poly sleeves, and these will be included in the sale.
