THE ROLLING STONES "THE ROLLING STONES"
DECCA RECORDS Cat# LK 4605
1969 Original Issue, Matrix nos. end 1A / 3A
**********************************************************
The Rolling Stones became fantastic songwriters beyond their enthusiastic purely blues beginnings. You can imagine the tambourine shaking Jagger shaking and jumping, doing his thing in their sweaty live gigs in dingey smokey London clubs!
Their live sound comes across even more considering this album would have been quickly recorded, and need to represent the numbers they were playing to the audiences.
An historic lp, and here's the first issued unboxed maroon Decca 'ffrr' Mono lable.
Condition;
The VINYL is VG.
A Decca classic 'DEEP GROOVE' disc, some scuff visible - but surprisingly well playing far above the grade, but these early Decca pressings are known for this.
The LABLES are GOOD +
A small sticker shadow on side 1, no pen or torn paper, several spindle lines.
The FRONT LAMINATED card COVER is G+
Some aging and much handling wear, no writing or stickers.
Sold as seen, as this is not a 'top copy' by any means, and has seen much use.
See photos.
