BORIS “BORIS” GREEN COLORED VINYL 12” SINGLE S/S LIMITED EDITION OF 400

It is rather common knowledge, for fans maybe, that Boris took their name after The Melvins song “Boris”from that bands 1991 album “Bullhead” when their Japanese admirers formed in 1994. Fast forward to 2020: They finally record it! This recording is so scarce that if you buy the vinyl on Bandcamp ( sold out now,) you can’t even listen to the song in the app! You have to download it. But better still you can listen to it on this single sided 12” emerald green vinyl. This is a pretty great recording quality wise and the song itself is a fairly straightforward cover while being a very good rendition. Some nuances feel like Sabbath, then the Melvins, and then back to Boris. Listening to both versions tells of the authors influence and Boris’s seminal formation.

This is a new record in mint condition and it has never been played. It has a clear plastic sleeve in lieu of a cover or jacket. It is a single sided record, with Side A containing the lone recording. There is no Side B, with the other side of the disc having no grooves, and there is no label at the center. This is a limited edition of 400 that is sold out on the band’s Bandcamp page. Thank you for taking the time to read this and feel free to message me if you have any questions. Thanks!
