The Police/Ghost in the Machine Nautilus SuperDiscs Half-Speed Mastered Vinyl LP (NR 40) dates to the early 1980s, was rarely played at that time (and only on a high-end turntable with a top-quality stylus), and it has remained un-played and in storage in a smoke and pet free home for more than 30 years. The LP was recorded in Montserrat and Québec and was pressed by KM Records. It was visually graded, the surface is very clean and shows little evidence of usage, wear, or warping, it was tested on a Luxman PD441 with Grado Prestige Gold Cartridge and Diamond Stylus, and it played near perfectly except for 2 clicks on Side 1 and a few other clicks on Side 2, particularly between the tracks. It is in VG+ condition. The album cover, Nautilus inner “Super Sleeve”, and insert are judged to be in Near Mint condition.  

A Nautilus SuperDisc is a recording that reproduces with startling accuracy all the musical energy and dynamics recorded by the artist on the original master tape. They are created using state-of-the-art technology and the finest imported virgin vinyl. Each record is individually inspected using the highest quality control standards, and surface noise is virtually nonexistent on Nautilus’ silky quiet pressings.

For shipping purposes, the weight of this vinyl LP (7.9 ounces), a ULINE mailer specifically designed for LPs, and suitable packaging would be between 1 and 2 pounds. It will be very carefully packaged and shipped USPS Priority Mail. And, a reminder, I ship records only within the USA.
