I am listing a selection of exceptional Japanese and other audiophile pressings over the next few weeks; many sealed new old stock best pressings from a back room stock bought long ago, also slowly being added in my ebay store. One of the hardest to find of all this series in any countries issue: Japan EMI/Toshiba Great Recordings of the Century series first type issue of Vladimir HOROWITZ with Albert COATES & the LSO in 1930 in the RACHMANINOV Piano Concerto No. 3 and Haydn Sonata 52. Leatherette finish blue sleeve with gold label and the original OBI and booklet, keeping the UK Great Recordings style right down to the colour and design of the labels. This 40 to 70 year old undated record is near mint, with clean labels and insert. Sleeve is near mint, no pen or splits, creases or bends. Looks barely played. Surfaces are unmarked. A personal favourite account of the 3rd that also got exceptional reviews when new, and has stayed a gold standard for anyones later versions. Lovely big valve mono sound to these Japanese issues, rarer than the Melodiya & UK ones. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
