THE BEATLES, SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, 1967 UK PARLOPHONE MONO LP The Beatles – Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth album by The Beatles. It is often cited as one of the most influential albums of all time by prominent critics and publications, ranking number one in Rolling Stone’s ‘The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time’ in 2003. It was recorded by the Beatles over a 129-day period beginning on December 6, 1966. The album was released on June 1, 1967 in the UK and the following day in the US. The album has had a large influence on many artists.
This is a original mono pressing of The Beatles Sgt Pepper’s Lonley Hearts Club Band released on Parlophone Records in 1967. As far as I know it’s a 1st UK pressing with a Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated gatefold cover (flipback on inner spread), a red half-tone print on white 'psychedelic' inner sleeve, a 'cut-outs' card insert (full-color, single-sided. Printed signatures of Blake/Haworth at foot), a black and yellow logo label with silver text: "The Gramophone Co." in the radial text and "Sold in the U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions, See Price Lists" across label at center, with "Made in Gt. Britain" at foot and ‘KT’ tax code on the side one label.
It’s not the greatest copy you have ever seen but I’ve seen a lot worse. See condition below.
Side One: Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band; With A Little Help From My Friends; Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds; Getting Better; Fixing A Hole; She’s Leaving Home; Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite!
Side Two: Within You Without You; When I’m Sixty-Four; Lovely Rita; Good Morning Good Morning; Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise); A Day In The Life.
The album is on Parlophone Records, PMC 7072. Matrix side one: XEX 637-1 (stamped). Matrix side two: XEX 638-1 (stamped).
Released in 1967. UK pressing. Mono.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: good (has quite a few mainly light marks and plays with some light background crackle and a few light clicks here and there but nothing that really spoils your enjoyment of the music, plays with no sticks or skips).
Vinyl side 2: good (has quite a few mainly light marks and plays with some light background crackle and a few light clicks here and there but nothing that really spoils your enjoyment of the music, plays with no sticks or skips).
Cover (fully laminated, gatefold, inner flip-back): good (corner and spine wear, spine has some surface tears, a few small light creases, light rubbing front and back).
Includes the original cut-out sheet in excellent condition but has a name written on the back.
Also has the original red half-tone print on white 'psychedelic' inner sleeve in good condition - sellotape repair to bottom edge and wear and a couple of tears at opening edge.
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. Payment strictly by PayPal only. Postal discounts available for multiple purchases - Please email for details. _gsrx_vers_859 (GS 7.0.21 (859))
