THE BEATLES, BEATLES FOR SALE, ORIG 1964 UK PARLOPHONE STEREO LP, MT TAX CODE The Beatles – Beatles For Sale (12” LP)

Beatles for Sale is the fourth studio album by The Beatles. It was released on 4 December 1964 in the United Kingdom on EMI's Parlophone label. The album marked a departure from the upbeat tone that had characterised their previous work, partly due to the band's exhaustion after a series of tours that had established them as a worldwide phenomenon in 1964.
As far as I know this is a 1st stereo pressing. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject to resale…” and “Recording First Published 1964”  text. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With the rarer MT tax code on the side one label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 142-1N (with the “2” stamped on top of another number); Side 2: YEX 143-1N. The sleeve is the outer laminated, gatefold, opens from inside, inner flipback, “Made and Printed in Great Britain.” outline “stereo” logo on cover.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: good (has quite a few marks but apart from a few louder clicks on the first half of track five plays better than it looks with only some light background crackle a the odd click here and there but nothing that really spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still sounds great, plays with no jumps or sticks).
Vinyl side 2: good (has quite a few marks but apart from a a couple of clicks and a small skip at the start of track five plays better than it looks with only some light background crackle a the odd click here and there but nothing that really spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still sounds great, plays with no sticks).
Cover (outer laminated, gatefold, opens from inside, inner flipback): good (corner and spine wear, a few laminate creases, a few light indents, the odd mark here and there).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. Payment strictly by PayPal only. Postal discounts available for multiple purchases - Please email for details.  _gsrx_vers_859 (GS 7.0.21 (859))
