I am listing a selection of exceptional Japanese and other audiophile pressings over the next few weeks; many sealed new old stock best pressings from a back room stock bought long ago, also slowly being added in my ebay store. My play grading listen to this throughout was the most spiritual and uplifting experience of the week so far!. Probably my favourite of all the Chaconne recordings, and I have heard most from the vinyl era. Japan DGG first type issue Stereo 1967 Cloth box with pasted artwork and Tulips labels of HENRYK SZERYNG in the BACH unaccompanied SONATAS&PARTITAS 3LP JAPAN 1st STEREO version in the eastern hemisphere. As you can see, I had the original receipt from these bought in the record shop in 1969, by then slightly aging new stock from 2 years previously. The reissues are fairly common, but the fact that these tulip rim label ones from the 1960s are pressed from a valve powered amp to drive the signal, is just that ideal addition of warmth to the stereo sound of this priceless violin played by one of the greats.
A personal favourite account that also got exceptional reviews when new, and has stayed strong against later versions. Lovely big valve stereo sound to these Japanese issues, rarer than the German ones. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
