Combining sexual and Catholic themes, it saw her performing to huge audiences in North America, Europe and Asia, generating admiration and condemnation. Madonna embarked on her fourth world tour in ‘93, The Girlie Show, in support of her sexually charged Erotica album; a blend of cabaret, circus, burlesque, disco and more, igniting controversy wherever it went.
Recordings taken from Reunion Arena, Dallas, Texas 7th May 1990 (Syndicated radio) and The Girlie Show, Fukuoka Dome, Japan 8th December 1993 (NHK TV).
