Side A is his own original music, including songs he wrote for the film, and side B is a soundtrack consisting of

 covers of songs by The Beach Boys and others. 

The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson on the B-side of this album. 

The album contains songs related to summer, some of which are re-recorded from "MELODIES" and "FOR YOU".

 1984 coincided with his concert tour as well as the recording of Mariya Takeuchi's return album "VARIETY", and

 his schedule was quite tight. The remixing of previously released songs helped him a lot, but even so, he was able

 to combine all the English lyrics he had recorded so far into one album, which was very significant, he says.
